Ukrainian farmers have already sown 128 thousand hectares of spring crops

Fourteen regions have started sowing spring crops. As of March 14, Ukraine planted 128.1 thou hectares of grains and pulses. Of these, 12.9 thousand hectares of wheat, 69.6 thousand hectares of barley, 41.5 thousand hectares of peas and 3.7 thousand hectares of oats, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reports.
Most of the crops were sown in the following regions:
- Odesa region – only 43 thousand hectares. Of these, 1 thousand hectares of wheat, 23.3 thousand hectares of barley, 17.7 thousand hectares of peas and 1 thousand hectares of oats;
- Mykolaiv region – 1.1 thou hectares of wheat, 17.9 thou hectares of barley, 12.6 thou hectares of peas and 0.5 thou hectares of oats;
- Ternopil region – 2.6 thou hectares of wheat, 10.4 thou hectares of barley and 1 thou hectares of peas;
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 2.3 thou hectares of wheat, 4.9 thou hectares of barley and 1.69 thou hectares of peas;
- Vinnytsia region – 2.8 thou hectares of wheat, 2.3 thou hectares of barley and 2 thou hectares of peas;
- Khmelnytsky region – 0.6 thou hectares of wheat, 2.8 thou hectares of barley, 0.2 thou hectares of peas and 0.4 thou hectares of oats.
