Ukrainian farmers are approaching the harvest of the first million tons of grain of the new harvest

As of July 4, 2025, 331.9 thousand hectares and 865.7 thousand tons of early grain and legume crops have already been threshed in Ukraine.
In particular:
Wheat -harvested 107.4 thousand hectares, threshed – 277.8 thousand tons;
Barley – harvested 176.6 thousand hectares, threshed – 501.2 thousand tons;
Peas – harvested 47.2 thousand hectares, threshed – 83.8 thousand tons.
The leader in grain and legume harvesting is the Odesa region.
In total, nine regions are already harvesting. In particular:
Odesa – harvested 175.8 thousand hectares, threshed – 516.2 thousand tons;
Mykolaiv region – 119.7 thousand hectares were harvested, 276.7 thousand tons were threshed;
Dnipropetrovsk region – 17.7 thousand hectares were harvested, 37.2 thousand tons were threshed.
Agricultural producers of Mykolaiv, Odessa, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions have already harvested 71.6 thousand tons of rapeseed, which was threshed on an area of 46 thousand hectares.
