Ukraine’s grain exports exceeded 2.7 mln tons
As of August 9, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 2 mln 762 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 423 thsd tonnes less than last year on the same date. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, the export of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 1 mln 076 thsd tonnes, which is 487 thsd tonnes or almost twice as much as last year.
Also, as of August 9, Ukrainian farmers exported 349 thousand tons of barley and 0.5 thousand tons of rye.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 1 million 331 thousand tons, which is 206 thousand tons less than last year.
Also, 12.9 thousand tons of flour were exported, or 17.2 thousand tons in terms of grain, which is more than 2.3 thousand tons more than last year.
It is worth noting that as of August 7, in 2023/2024 MY, Ukraine exported 2 mln 577 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses.
