Ukraine will harvest almost 40% less sunflower

The production of the main types of oilseeds in 2022/23 MY will amount to 10.3 million tons, which is half of the harvest of the previous season (22.6 million tons). Such a forecast was made by the association “Ukroliyaprom”.

Thus, the sunflower harvest is expected at the level of 10.3 million tons, which is 37% less than the 16.3 million tons harvested last year.

The gross harvest of soybeans in 2022 is estimated at 3.35 million tons, which almost corresponds to last year’s 3.4 million tons.

Rape harvest, according to experts’ forecasts, will be 7% higher and will amount to 3.1 million tons.
