Ukraine. Ukrainian Railways set to increase throughput of Odesa-Port station
The Ukrainian Railways Company (Ukrzaliznytsia) will develop intermodal rail shipments inside Ukraine and then in East European and Baltic countries. Within the framework of the project, it is projected to increase the throughput of the railway station Odesa-Port and develop railway infrastructure of the Odesa seaport, UkrAgroConsult reports.
A respective memorandum has been signed by Ukrzaliznytsia, Germany’s HHLA International GmbH, its daughter company Odesa Container Terminal, and LLC Ukrainian Intermodal Company.
