Ukraine. The weather was fair for winter grains

On November 21-30, the country was dominated by variable, cool weather with insignificant precipitation in the form of drizzle, snow and sleet.
No dangerous weather events for winter grains were reported. The weather was fair for winter grains, their further condition will depend on plant hardening during the calendar winter, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Farmers continue to harvest corn and plant winter crops.
Precipitation on November 21-23 was insignificant, at most 0.3-1.0 mm (2-8% of normal), 8-9 mm (44-56% of normal) locally in the north and east, but this did not improve soil moisture content.
Soil moisture content in most areas remains insufficient, locally even poor.
Weather forecast for December 3-6:
– Precipitation (5-25 mm) is expected in the central, southern and northern regions;
– The eastern and western regions will receive 2-5 mm;
– Snow and sleet are possible in the northern, central and eastern regions;
– Air temperatures will be +4 … 6°C in the west and south, -2 … +1°C in the north and east, and +1 … 3°C in Central Ukraine;
– No dangerous weather events for winter crops are forecast.
