Ukraine. The pace of sunflower oil exports is rather high, despite sunseed crop decline
Sunflower crop decline in Ukraine has not yet adversely affected the pace of sunflower oil exports. 305 KMT of sunflower oil was exported in September 2020/21 (+33% year-on-year).
An active start to the new season in view of a sunseed crop decline will inevitably lead to abnormally low exports in the latter half of the season, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Exports to key destination markets changed as follows: China (+269%), India (-29%), EU countries (+37%).
Growth in exports was registered to the following markets: the Netherlands (manifold), Saudi Arabia (manifold), the U.S. (manifold).
A slowdown in exports was observed to Italy, Spain and Jordan.
