Ukraine. Soybean meal exports receded from their record high
Soybean meal exports from Ukraine in September-July 2019/20 totaled 662.8 KMT (-3.8% year-on-year). As shipments fell in the past three months, this season’s exports are no longer record high – June exports hit a season low of 18.7 KMT. The market is facing a soybean shortage towards the end of the season, UkrAgroConsult reports.
The EU remains the biggest importer with a market share of 46% (+7% year-on-year).
Growth in exports was observed to Romania (+150%), Azerbaijan (+63%), Belarus (+3%).
A slowdown in exports was registered to Turkey (-51%), Hungary (-11%), Georgia (-23%).
