Ukraine. River shippers started building a larger fleet
The fleet in Ukraine’s river shipping market is becoming larger. Barges with higher tonnage are being built by the companies AgroVista and Grain-Transshipment, UkrAgroConsult reports.
DunaySudnoServis has already launched the largest barge in Ukraine (D-6000) for AgroVista. This vessel can carry 6 KMT of grain at a time. Grain-Transshipment is planning to build from scratch a 108-meter barge. Its carrying capacity is expected at 5 KMT.
