Ukraine reduced grain exports in January: corn was the exception
The volume of grain and leguminous crops exports from Ukraine in January of this year amounted to almost 3.2 million tons. This is 106 thousand tons, or 3% less than the same month last season (3.3 million tons).
This is evidenced by data from the State Customs Service.
Thus, almost 499 thousand tons of wheat were exported in the reporting month, which is 40% less than in January last year.
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to 15 thousand tons, which is 77% less than the export volumes for the same month in 2025.
2.66 million tons of corn were exported, which is 12% more than shipments last season.
Flour exports amounted to 4.2 thousand tons, which is 30% less than in January 2025.
