Ukraine. Record barley exports early in the new season

Ukrainian barley exports in July 2021/22 totaled 1096.6 KMT that is an all-time high for this month and up 30.7% from July 2020/21, UkrAgroConsult reports.
As before, the main buyer of Ukrainian barley is China, which boosted imports by 34% from July 2020.
Turkey has already imported 5.3 times more barley than in the whole last season.
The following countries also increased purchases from last season: Libya (+30%), Jordan (+42%), Israel (+96%), Morocco (up 6.8 times).
For now, Saudi Arabia remains the only major buyer, whose purchases are much lower than last year (-68%).
