Ukraine Opens 19 New Markets for Agricultural Exports in One Year
Ukraine opened 19 new markets for its agricultural exports throughout 2025, the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection reported.
“Expanding the export geography is not only an additional opportunity for the development of the national economy, but also a confirmation of the effectiveness of the state control system, proper epizootic supervision, and proof that even in times of war, Ukraine remains a reliable and responsible trading partner on the international stage,” the agency said.
Last year, new opportunities were opened for the export of products used in animal feed and livestock production. New markets include:

Republic of Moldova – canned pet food, processed pet food (excluding canned), milk, milk-based products, and milk derivatives not intended for human consumption;

Republic of Turkey – canned pet food;

Republic of Chile – offal meal, meat-and-bone and feather meal, oils or fats from poultry, pigs, and horses;

Bosnia and Herzegovina – rendered fats not intended for human consumption used as feed material, processed animal protein not intended for human consumption, including mixtures and products other than pet food containing such protein;

Vietnam – milk, milk-based products, and products derived from milk not intended for human consumption;
-
Albania – eggs for human consumption;

Canada – table eggs;

Malaysia – egg products.
In addition, Ukraine will export milk and dairy products for human consumption to Malaysia. Ukrainian poultry products meet international market requirements and remain in stable demand. New markets include:

Sultanate of Oman – poultry meat, offal, and other poultry products;

Georgia – composite products containing poultry meat and dairy, fully cooked and intended for human consumption.
Access for Ukrainian fishery products was also expanded to Asian markets, including China (marine mammals and wild-caught seafood), while Kuwait approved imports of processed food products from Ukraine.
Alongside animal products, new markets were opened in 2025 for Ukrainian crop production:

People’s Republic of China – peas;

Canada – apples.
