Ukraine opened the market of Côte d’Ivoire for export of meat products
Ukraine has opened new opportunities for the export of meat products to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. In 2026, veterinary certificates were approved, allowing the supply of Ukrainian beef, lamb and poultry meat to this market.
This concerns the approval of the following forms of veterinary certificates:
- Veterinary certificate for the export to Côte d’Ivoire of fresh, frozen or processed beef and lamb meat, as well as products thereof, intended for human consumption.
- Veterinary certificate for the export to Côte d’Ivoire of fresh, frozen or processed meat, as well as poultry products, intended for human consumption.
The opening of new export directions expands opportunities for Ukrainian producers and suppliers of meat products and contributes to the deepening of trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and African countries.
Ukraine can export fresh, frozen and processed meat, as well as poultry, beef and lamb products to Côte d’Ivoire, provided that the established standards are met.
Before sending goods, exporters registered in Côte d’Ivoire must obtain a special permit from the Ministry of Animal and Fisheries Resources of that country. Each batch of products also requires a mandatory Import Permit, which is issued before the shipment of the cargo.
All approved forms of veterinary certificates are available on the official web portal of the State Service for the Protection and Consumer Protection of Ukraine in the section “Certificates for export from Ukraine”.
