Ukraine. Linseed planted area shrinking for a fourth year

According to the Flax and Hemp Development Association of Ukraine, a total 12 KMT of linseed was produced in Ukraine in 2020 (down 20% from 15.1 KMT harvested in 2019).
The planted area has been shrinking for a fourth year in a row: from 68 Th ha in MY 2016/17 to 14 Th ha in MY 2020/21, UkrAgroConsult reports.
