Ukraine. Linseed exports lowest in six seasons
Linseed exports in September-June 2019/20 totaled 9.4 KMT (down 14% year-on-year due to a crop decline), UkrAgroConsult reports.
The EU is the main importer with a market share of 62%. Its purchases decreased by 6.5% from a year earlier.
Bangladesh stopped importing Ukrainian linseed this season (its market share in MY 2018/19 was 10%).
Growth in exports was registered to the following markets: Egypt (+603%), Belgium (+159%), Germany (+48%).
A slowdown in exports was to Slovakia (-85%) and Bulgaria (-25%).
