Ukraine. Linseed export potential limited due to a crop decline
Linseed exports in the first four months of MY 2019/20 totaled 6.35 KMT that was up 32% from the same time in MY 2018/19. The rise stemmed from lower domestic crush in the conditions of a drop in linseed production, UkrAgroConsult analysts report.
The EU is the main importer with a market share of 55%. Its purchases increased by 66.7% from a year earlier.
Growth in linseed exports is observed to Germany, Egypt and Poland.
A slowdown in exports was registered to Algeria and Tunisia.
