Ukraine. Less than 10% of the corn crop remains in the fields

Ukraine has harvested 97% of its grain and leguminous crops, with 58.99 million tons of grain harvested on 10.6 million hectares and an average yield of 55.6 tons per hectare, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
Corn has been threshed on 91% of the area as of February 15. Farmers harvested 28.74 million tons of grain with an average yield of 7.79 t/ha.
Oilseeds harvested as of the reporting date amounted to 20.76 mln tons:
- sunseed – 11.97 mln tons with an average yield of 2.39 t/ha;
- soybeans – 4.77 mln tons, 2.65 t/ha;
- rapeseed – 4 mln tons, 2.87 t/ha.
Sugar beet was harvested in the season of 2023 at 11.92 mln tons. The average yield of sweet roots was 47.71 t/ha.
USDA analysts in their February report forecast corn production in 2023/24 season at 30.5 mln tonnes, up 2 mln tonnes from their previous forecast.
