Ukraine has increased grain exports by 58% this seasonUkraine has exported 14.14 million tons of grains and pulses since the beginning of the 2024/2025 marketing year, as of October 30, which is 5.24 million tons, or 58%, more than in the same period last season.
This is stated in the report of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
In particular, Ukraine exported 7.68 million tons of wheat, while last year it was 4.48 million tons, 1.69 million tons of barley (last year – 679 thousand tons), 10.6 thousand tons of rye (last year – 0.9 thousand tons) and 4.49 million tons of corn (last year – 3.63 million tons).
In addition, during this period, Ukraine exported 25.1 thousand tons of flour against 42.4 thousand tons in the same period last year.
As a reminder, on October 30, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced an export security regime for the period of martial law, including the specifics of export operations for certain types of agricultural products.
The export security regime will apply to honey, nuts, wheat and a mixture of wheat and rye (meslin), rye, barley, oats, corn, soybeans, rapeseed, sunflower seeds, soybean, sunflower and rapeseed oil, oilcake.
