Ukraine has sown over 2.5 mln ha of winter crops
As of September 30, 2025, Ukrainian farmers have sown 2,515 mln ha of winter crops. Winter grain is already being sown in all regions of Ukraine.
In particular, the following were sown:
- winter wheat – 1,438.8 thsd ha;
- winter barley – 97.2 thsd ha;
- winter rye – 37.9 thsd ha;
- winter rapeseed – 941.1 thsd ha.
Among the leaders in grain crops are Poltava, Kirovohrad and Mykolaiv regions. Winter rapeseed was sown most in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsia and Mykolaiv regions.
