Ukraine harvests 9.5 mln tons of new crop

Farmers in all regions are harvesting early grain crops. In the Kherson region, we have already started harvesting millet, which we have threshed on 50 hectares and harvested 50 tons of seeds. All regions have started harvesting rapeseed.
In total, 2,781.25 thousand hectares of grains and oilseeds have been threshed, and 9.5 million tons of new crops have been harvested.
In particular
- wheat – 1 508.9 thou hectares were threshed, 5.7 mln tons were harvested;
- barley – 642.3 thousand hectares were harvested, with a harvest of 2.4 million tons
- peas – 127.3 thou hectares were harvested, with a harvest of 260.9 thou tons;
- rapeseed – 499.6 thou hectares were harvested, 1 085.2 thou tons of seeds were harvested;
- soybeans – 0.2 thou hectares harvested, 0.3 thou tons harvested.
The following regions are leading in grain harvesting: Mykolaiv region, where 484.1 thou hectares were harvested, Odesa region, where 464.5 thou hectares were harvested, and Dnipropetrovs’k region, where 319.4 thou hectares were harvested.
Ivano-Frankivsk region is the leader in terms of yield, with 66.6 c/ha.
