Ukraine. Grain rail shipments in August increased 2.3 times
3.9 MMT of grains and milling products were transported by rail in August 2020, or 2.3 times more than the month before (1.7 MMT). Following a substantial drop in June-July, grain rail shipments rose sharply in August. Their surge was driven by exports, as it is export traffic that dominates the grain freight segment, UkrAgroConsult reports.
