Ukraine. Grain memorandum signed
On July 1, 2020, the Ukrainian government and grain traders signed a memorandum on grain trade rules in MY 2020/21. They agreed to decide on the export quota volume on August 10, UkrAgroConsult reports.
It was previously reported that the Economy Ministry had suggested limiting 2020/21 wheat exports to 17.2 MMT.
According to UkrAgroConsult, Ukraine exported a record 20.5 MMT of wheat in MY 2019/20, or 31% more than the year before (15.5 MMT).
