Ukraine. First forward quotations of sunseed of the new harvest are discussed at the level of 500-520$/t
According to the market participants, the sunseed residues for the processing industry are about 4 mln tons. It is reported by Spike Brokers.
According to the brokers, low harvest and shortage of raw materials force many plants to consider “conservation” – stopping production until the new season.
Meanwhile, the first forward quotations of the new harvest sunseed (46% oil content) are discussed at the level of $500-520/t including VAT.
The latest indications of buyers for sunseed:
DAP Ukraine (factory) 46% (dry) ~530-545$/t,
DAP Bulgaria (factory) 44% (for crude) ~600-610$/t.
Latest buyers’ indications for sunflower oil:
DAP Ukraine (Odesa) ~1,090-1,095$/t.
