Ukraine exports apples to 65 countries

In January-September 2021, Ukraine exported more than 10,000 tonnes of apples to 65 countries.
Head of the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection Vladyslava Mahaletska said this at the conference “Fruits and Vegetables of Ukraine 2021”, according to the Government portal.
“Work on opening new markets requires constant and systematic efforts of many government agencies and businesses. This is one of the important areas of our work,” said Mahaletska.
In 2020-2021, the largest exports of Ukrainian apples were recorded to the following countries: Belarus, the United Arab Emirates, Austria, Moldova, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Oman, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Greece, Kuwait, Turkey and Mauritania.
According to Mahaletska, the work is underway to open the markets of Vietnam, China, Egypt, India and Israel for Ukrainian apple producers.
As Ukrinform reported, in October, the European Commission completed an audit of official control over the production and certification of milk and dairy products from Ukraine, which are intended for further exports to the European Union.
