Ukraine exported over 50.5 mln tons of grain
As of June 28, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 50 mln 553 thsd tons of grains and pulses, which is 1 mln 557 thsd tons or 3.17% more than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 18 mln 300 thsd tons, which is 1 mln 464 thsd tons or 8.7% more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 477 thsd tons of barley and 1.6 thsd tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 29 mln 233 thsd tons, which is 105 thsd tons more than last year.
In addition, 97.8 thou tons of flour (or 130.45 thsd tons in terms of grain) were shipped abroad, which is 55.8 thsd tons or 57% less than last year.
Preliminary data on grain and pulses exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on June 26. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY the total export volume of grains and pulses was 50 mln 305 thsd tons.
