Ukraine exported over 29.6 million tons of grain
As of March 1, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 29 mln 681 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 2 mln 616 thsd tonnes or 1.08 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 11 mln 772 thsd tonnes, which is 434 thsd tonnes more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 623 thousand tons of barley and 1.0 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 16 mln 006 thsd tonnes, which is 2 mln 598 thsd tonnes or 1.16 times less than last year.
In addition, 74.1 thou tons of flour (or 98.8 thou tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 24.8 thou tons or 1.33 times less than last year.
As a reminder, the exports of agricultural products in the first half of 2023/24 MY are 17% lower than last year.
