Ukraine exported more than 15 million tons of grain
As of December 15, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 15 mln 289 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 4 mln 670 thsd tonnes or almost 1.3 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 6 million 502 thousand tons, which is 925 thousand tons less than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 933 thousand tons of barley and 0.9 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 7 mln 717 thsd tonnes, which is 3 mln 196 thsd tonnes or 1.4 times less than last year.
Ukraine also exported 53.6 thousand tons of flour (71.5 thousand tons in terms of grain), which is 9.9 thousand tons less than last year.
The previous data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the exports of grains and pulses were dated December 13. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY the total export volume of grains and pulses was 14 mln 697 thsd tonnes.
