Ukraine exported more than 1 million tons of grain in May
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, export shipments since the beginning of this month are estimated at 1.063 million tons.
According to the operative data of the State Customs Service, as of May 30, since the beginning of the 2021/22 MY (July 1), Ukraine has exported 46.932 million tons of cereals and pulses. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine. Export shipments since the beginning of this month are estimated at 1.063 million tons.
In terms of crops in the period from July 1 to May 30 were exported: wheat – 18.568 million tons (in May – 42 thousand tons); barley – 5.679 million tons (11 thousand tons); rye – 161.9 thousand tons (not shipped in May); corn – 22.218 million tons (1.007 million tons).
The total export of Ukrainian flour from the beginning of the season on the reporting date was estimated at 71 thousand tons (in May – 1.4 thousand tons), including wheat – 69.4 thousand tons (1.3 thousand tons).
