Ukraine exported almost 900 thousand tons of grain
As of July 12, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 894 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 296 thsd tonnes more than last year on the same date. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, the export of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 283 thsd tonnes, which is 164 thsd tonnes or 2.3 times more than last year. For the first time since the beginning of the new marketing year, Ukraine exported 0.1 thsd tonnes of rye.
Also, as of July 12, Ukrainian farmers exported 81 thsd tonnes of barley.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 529 thsd tonnes, which is 94 thsd tonnes more than last year.
Also, 3.5 thou tons of flour were exported, or 4.7 thou tons in terms of grain, which is twice as much as last year.
It is worth noting that as of July 7, in 2023/2024 MY, Ukraine exported 497 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses.
