Ukraine exported almost 40 million tons of grain

As of April 24, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 39 mln 914 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 828 thsd tonnes or 1.02 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 15 mln 252 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 311 thsd tonnes or 1.09 times more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 170 thousand tons of barley and 1.2 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 22 mln 016 thsd tonnes, which is 2 mln 033 thsd tonnes or 1.09 times less than last year.
In addition, 84.6 thousand tons of flour (or 112.8 thousand tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 40.8 thousand tons or 1.48 times less than last year.
Preliminary data on grain and pulses exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on April 22. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY, 39 mln 464 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses were exported.
As a reminder, the exports of agricultural products in the first half of 2023/24 MY are 17% lower than last year.
