Ukraine exported almost 14 million tons of grain
As of December 8, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 13 mln 920 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 5 mln 054 thsd tonnes or almost 1.4 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 6 mln 103 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 059 thsd tonnes less than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 897 thousand tons of barley and 0.9 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 6 mln 785 thsd tonnes, which is 3 mln 447 thsd tonnes or more than 1.5 times less than last year.
Also, 51.8 thousand tons of flour were exported (in terms of grain 69.1 thousand tons), which is 8 thousand tons less than last year.
The previous data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the exports of grains and pulses were dated December 6. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY the total export volume of grains and pulses was 13 mln 723 thsd tonnes.
