Ukraine exported 60% of the wheat agreed by the grain memorandum

The volume of exports of grains and pulses from Ukraine in MY 2024/25 as of January 3 amounted to 21.9 mln tonnes, up 3.5 mln tonnes or 19% compared to the same period last season. This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service, published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Thus, this season, the country shipped about 9.8 mln tons of wheat, which is 29% higher than last year’s volumes. Thus, 60% of the total volume of wheat agreed in the grain memorandum (16.2 mln tons) was exported.
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to 1.97 mln tonnes, which is 1.8 times more than in the same period last season.
The company shipped 10.8 thou tons of rye, which is 11 times more than last season (1 thou tons).
Ukraine exported 9.8 mln tons of corn, which is 2% more than the same date last season.
Ukraine exported 37.7 thsd tonnes of flour, down 36% year-on-year.
For reference: in MY 2023/24, the exports of grains and pulses totaled 50.8 mln tonnes: wheat – 18.4 mln tonnes, barley – 2.5 mln tonnes, rye – 1.6 thsd tonnes, corn – 29.4 mln tonnes, flour – 98.2 thsd tonnes.
