Ukraine. Economic Development Ministry calculated winter crop losses

According to estimates made by the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture, 234 Th ha of winter crops had been lost by May 5, 2020 (2.6% of their planted area), including 103 Th ha of winter rape.

The heaviest losses of winter crops occurred in Odesa region: 148 Th ha (15% of their acreage). The loss rate of winter rape equaled 62%, UkrAgroConsult reports.
