Ukraine. Corn yield is down 2% from last year

According to the latest update as of October 24, planting of winter grains slowed down to 3.3% behind last year. 5 Th ha of winter rape is left to be planted – its acreage is 5.7% larger than last year.
Corn harvest accelerated to 11.2% ahead of last year, its yield is down 2.0% from October 24, 2018, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Buckwheat harvest is 37.8% behind last year, with 5.7% higher yield than in 2018, the harvested area official forecast for buckwheat was raised by 1 KMT. Millet harvest is 68.5% ahead of last year, with 20.8% higher yield than in 2018.
Sunflower harvest progress is 3.1% behind last year, with 8.3% higher yield than in 2018. Soybean harvest is 3.2% behind last year, with yield down 8.6% from 2018.
