Ukraine. Corn yield is 10.3% higher than in 2018

According to the latest update, as of September 16, planting of winter grains has slowed down (6.0% behind last year). Planting of winter rape is 9.8% ahead of last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Corn harvest has accelerated to 38.1% behind last year, with yield being 10.3% higher than in 2018. Buckwheat harvest is 49.7% behind last year now, with a 5.2% higher yield than in 2018. Millet harvest is 52.8% ahead of last year, with a 30.9% higher yield than in 2018.
Sunflower harvest has accelerated (25.3% ahead of 2018), with its yield and total crop being up 3.2% and 29.2% year-on-year, respectively.
Soybean harvest is 54.0% ahead of last year, with a 6.0% lower yield than in 2018.
