Ukraine completed the sowing of winter rapeseed

961,000 hectares, or 100% ahead of the forecast, Ukrainian farmers have completed the sowing of winter rapeseed, reports the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Sowing of winter grain crops continues throughout Ukraine, 709,000 hectares, or 15% of the forecast, have been sown.

• Wheat – 622 thousand hectares, or 16%.
• Barley – 65 thousand hectares, or 10%.
• Rye – 27 thousand hectares, or 31%.

In the previous week, 298,000 hectares of winter crops were sown for grain.

Farmers of Chernihiv region sowed the most winter crops – 33.1 thousand hectares, or 37% of the forecast.
