Ukraine and the UAE will work together to create a food hub

The United Arab Emirates will work in partnership with Ukraine to create the first food hub on the African continent.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky from Abu Dhabi during an online press conference with Ukrainian journalists.
“We also agreed that we will work in partnership on a project that we have long wanted to launch, but there was no time and opportunity. These are (food) hubs on the territory of the African continent. The first partner has been found – the UAE,” Zelensky said.
Recall that earlier, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates signed an agreement on a Comprehensive Economic Partnership. First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko clarified that this is not a traditional free trade agreement, it is the first in history among the agreements concluded with one of the Persian Gulf countries.
As reported, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates completed negotiations on a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the governments of the two countries back in April 2024.
