Ukraine. Amendment on duty on soybeans and rapeseed failed in the Verkhovna Rada
The deputies did not support the oil amendments to the bill No. 13134, in particular amendment No. 40 on the introduction of a duty on the export of soybeans and rapeseed. During the last session, a lively discussion took place, but the vote ended in failure – the amendment was not adopted.
The initiative to add a duty on the export of these crops to the law on pharmacy caused significant opposition among parliamentarians, which led to its rejection. Thus, for now, the bill No. 13134 remains unchanged in terms of duties on soybeans and rapeseed.
