Ukraine. Sunflower harvest is 45% ahead of 2018
According to the latest update, as of September 19, planting of winter grains has accelerated (23.3% ahead last year). Planting of winter rape is 8.0% ahead of last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Harvest of late crops: corn harvest has accelerated to 5.9% behind last year, with yield 6.0% higher than in 2018.
Buckwheat harvest has accelerated to 28.5% behind last year, with yield 6.0% higher than in 2018. Millet harvest has accelerated to 93.9% ahead of last year, with a 18.1% higher yield than in 2018.
Sunflower harvest has accelerated (45.3% ahead of 2018), with its yield and total crop being up 4.8% and 52.0% year-on-year, respectively.
Soybean harvest is 80.8% ahead of last year, with a 5.5% lower yield than in 2018.
