UGA named the main importers of Ukrainian grain and oilseeds in the 2024/2025 MY
The Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) has published data on the largest importers of Ukrainian grain and oilseed crops in the 2024/2025 marketing year. The leaders in terms of procurement volumes were Turkey, Spain and Egypt, which together imported a significant part of the Ukrainian harvest.
Turkey took first place, purchasing 6.645 million tons of grain and oilseed crops. Spain was in second place with a volume of 6.243 million tons, and Egypt closed the top three with 4.573 million tons. These countries remain key partners of Ukraine in the world grain market.
The top five also included Italy with 3.917 million tons and the Netherlands with 3.307 million tons. The top ten importers were Algeria (2.056 million tons), Germany (1.706 million tons), Indonesia (1.588 million tons), Belgium (1.469 million tons) and Tunisia (1.253 million tons), demonstrating stable demand for Ukrainian products.
The list of top 15 importers also included Vietnam, Lebanon, Libya, Bangladesh and China, each of which purchased over 900 thousand tons.
