UGA forecasts 29.26 million tons of corn harvest in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) predicts that Ukraine will be able to grow 29.26 million tons of corn, if the weather does not interfere, while exports will increase to 24 million tons. In the 2024/2025 season, there were 25.94 million tons and 21.4 million tons, respectively.
This was stated by the President of the Ukrainian Grain Association Mykola Gorbachev at a meeting with journalists.
“Corn looks very good in the fields, there are no risks today. The only thing is that the harvest may be delayed due to the weather. If earlier some farms started harvesting corn in September, this year its harvest will probably begin in late September – early October,” Mykola Gorbachev noted.
In the 2025/2026 season, according to forecasts by the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA), grain and oilseed production could reach 83 million tons, which is 4 million tons more than in the previous season. At the same time, exports will increase by 3.3 million tons and will amount to 50 million tons.
