Turkey increased the import of corn from Ukraine by 2.5 times, soybeans by almost twice

In the first seven months of 2025, Turkey increased its imports of Ukrainian agricultural products. The total amount of supplies from Ukraine for January-July amounted to $1.48 billion, which is 16% more than in the same period of 2024. This was reported by the Ukrainian Bean and Soybean Association.
The largest growth was recorded in key items:
Corn: imports to Turkey increased by 2.4 times – $760.6 million compared to $322.9 million in 2024.
Soybean: deliveries almost doubled – $255.4 million compared to $141.9 million (+80%).
At the same time, imports of sunflower oil decreased by 18%, to $319 million compared to $389.9 million in the same period last year.
Analysts note that demand for Ukrainian corn and soybeans remains high, making Turkey one of Ukraine’s key partners in the agricultural market.
