Tunisia purchased 225 thsd tons of wheat
On November 13, the Tunisian Grain Agency (ODC) held a tender for the purchase of soft and durum wheat of arbitrary origin, Reuters reported.
As planned, 125,000 tonnes of soft and 100,000 tonnes of durum wheat were purchased on a C&F basis. Bunge will supply soft wheat at $257.86 per tonne.
Durum wheat will be supplied by three companies:
- 50,000 tonnes from Amber Trading House at $323 per tonne
- 25,000 tonnes from Marcou at $324.89 per tonne
- 25,000 tonnes from Casillo at $325.68 per tonne
According to the tender terms, soft wheat shipments will take place from December 5 to January 25, and durum wheat shipments will take place from December 5 to January 20.
