Tunisia purchased 200 thsd tons of wheat
On January 28, the Tunisian Grain Agency (ODC) held a tender for the purchase of 100,000 tons of soft wheat and 100,000 tons of durum wheat of any origin, according to Reuters.
100,000 tons of soft wheat were purchased on a C&F basis from the following companies:
- Finagrit – 25,000 tons at $256.16
- Casillo – 25,000 tons at $259.68
- Buildcom – 25,000 tons at $258.77
- Buildcom – 25,000 tons at $258.37
Durum wheat was purchased on a C&F basis from the following companies:
- Casillo – 25,000 tons at $325.49
- Casillo – 25,000 tons at $327.69
- Bunge – 25,000 tons at $327.96
- Amber – 25,000 tons at $323.89
According to the tender terms, soft wheat will be shipped from March 1 to April 15, and durum wheat from February 20 to April 5.
