On September 10, the Tunisian Grain Agency (ODC) held a tender for 100,000 tonnes of soft wheat of any origin, Reuters reported.

The 100,000 tonnes of wheat were purchased from Bunge at $254.58 per tonne on a cash and freight basis.

Bunge was the lowest bidder. Other bidders were higher: Ameropa at $259.85; Casillo at $259.97; and other companies at over $260.

According to the tender terms, shipments will take place in four 25,000-tonne batches from November 5 to December 15, depending on origin.
