The Grain Corridor is working: 1.1 million tons of agricultural products left Ukraine within the last week

Ukrainian agricultural products sea shipments volume crossed the 10 million tons mark, 430 vessels have already left Greater Odesa ports, of which 279 were loaded with corn and wheat.
Over the past three days, the queue of outbound vessels with Ukrainian crops in the Bosphorus has been sharply decreasing: from 120 vessels, less than 40 remained. However, approximately 100 inbound vessels are still waiting at the entrance to Istanbul, for heading to Ukraine to be loaded with agricultural products.
The Corridor’s key statistics for the last week are as follows: among other cargoes Ukraine shipped almost 0.5 million tons of corn and 309,000 tons of wheat. The total tonnage of all kind of agricultural products per week till today is 1.1 million tons.
During the three months of operation of the Grain Initiative, 618,000 tons of wheat shipped to low-incom needy countries, which is 21% of the total amount. Another 579,000 tons of wheat were shipped to Turkey, the flour from which is also planned to be sold to countries with a humanitarian crisis. In the overall percentage ratio, this is likewise 19.6%.
Today, 7 ships with 290,000 tons of cargo left Ukrainian ports, they are heading to the countries of Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
