The EU doubled purchases of Ukrainian sunflower oil
A record 4533 KMT of sunflower oil was exported in September-April 2019/20 (+9% year-on-year), UkrAgroConsult reports.
Exports in April reached 717 KMT that is the highest on record.
The EU doubled purchases from a year earlier and topped the list of importers.
Exports to India fell by 300 KMT (down 20%).
The new export markets include Antigua and Barbuda, Burundi.
Growth in exports was registered to Spain (+44%), China (+29%), the Netherland (+32%).
A slowdown in exports was observed to Portugal (-97%), Germany (-65%) and Lebanon (-28%).
