The Egypt’s share in Ukrainian wheat exports increased to 19%
19.1 MMT has already been exported this season, or 34% more than a year earlier.
April wheat export was less than in March, but higher than in April 2019 (-8% from March and +28% from April 2018/19), UkrAgroConsult reports.
Traditionally, the largest amount was shipped to Egypt, and the country’s share in July-April 2019/20 equaled 19%.
Indonesia and Tunisia were active buyers in April. The greatest year-on-year gains are shown by: Turkey (+304%), Yemen (+297%), Egypt (+129%).
EU, Morocco, Philippines reduced purchases of Ukrainian wheat.
