Sunseed harvest in Ukraine reaches midpoint

As of October 3, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 31.55 mln tons of grain crops from 7.21 mln ha, which accounts for 65% of the planted area.
In particular:

Wheat: 22.53 mln tons from 5.02 mln ha, average yield 4.49 t/ha.

Barley: 5.33 mln tons from 1.35 mln ha, average yield 3.96 t/ha.

Peas: 0.63 mln tons from 0.27 mln ha, average yield 2.36 t/ha.

Corn: 2.06 mln tons from 0.41 mln ha, average yield 5.08 t/ha.
Other grains and pulses amounted to 0.88 mln tons from 0.32 mln ha. Leading regions include Odesa (3.71 mln tons from 1.12 mln ha), Vinnytsia (2.43 mln tons from 0.44 mln ha), Kirovohrad (2.22 mln tons from 0.54 mln ha), and Khmelnytskyi (2.18 mln tons from 0.32 mln ha).
As for oilseeds:

Rapeseed: 3.30 mln tons from 1.28 mln ha, yield 2.59 t/ha.

Soybeans: 2.23 mln tons from 1.01 mln ha, yield 2.22 t/ha.

Sunflower seeds: 5.54 mln tons from 3.02 mln ha, yield 1.83 t/ha.
Additionally, 2.42 mln tons of sugar beet have been harvested from 0.05 mln ha. Overall, sunseed has been harvested from 58.7% of planted areas, soybeans – 46%, corn – 10%, and sugar beet – 25%. The harvest of wheat, barley, peas, and rapeseed is complete.
