Strike on “Novocherkassk”: there was a bulk carrier with stolen Ukrainian grain in the port

According to journalists, the SAN COSMAS vessel has been repeatedly spotted calling at seized Crimean ports and was involved in a scandal involving the transportation of stolen Ukrainian grain.
A bulk carrier involved in the illegal export of Ukrainian grain was damaged during a strike on the large amphibious assault ship Novocherkassk in occupied Feodosia, Crimea. This was reported by Krym.Realii (Radio Liberty).
The bulk carrier SAN COSMAS, flying the flag of Tanzania, was damaged during an attack on the Russian large amphibious assault ship Novocherkassk in the port of Feodosia. The ship was moored near a grain terminal. The journalists note that it is not yet clear whether the vessel suffered any damage.
According to the Ukrainian media, the SAN COSMAS vessel has been repeatedly spotted calling at Crimean ports and was involved in a scandal involving the transportation of stolen Ukrainian grain. The vessel, formerly called LAODICEA, was spotted in the Black Sea accompanied by Russian warships.
“The SAN COSMAS bulk carrier changed its name in 2023. However, the IMO number remained the same: 9274343. The same number was used by the vessel, which was repeatedly spotted entering Crimean ports,” the media report said.
